✵Life Mottos✵

Life Goes On…What do I mean? Click below to find out!

When the school year srtarted my english teacher asked us to make a power point presentation showing some of our life mottos. Through this we saw what people’s morals were and how they shaped their lives. We learned new mottos and things to live by. The pictures above were my life mottos, they mostly have the same meaning. They have to do with living life to the fullest and to remember the good things outweigh the bad things.

In the play Oedipus Rex, Oedipus did the exact opposite. He did not live life to the fullest and did not see that life goes on with good and bad memories. Oedipus learned about one thing bad that happend to him and went downhill from there. Most of the time he never saw the good things he had, like having his daughters to help him and being royalty. Also, Oedipus punished himself for always seeing the bad things. You should not live your life the way Oedipus did, you should always see the good in the bad times and power through.
